To enable the Donate An Item function on your event simply follow the steps below:
- Go to All Pages > ALL Auction Items > Settings
- Toggle on Enable Guest Item Donation
- Go back to All Pages and scroll to the bottom to Add Pages > click on Add to event on Donate an item page
You can choose whether you want to show the link on the menu or if you want to keep it hidden and send out the link privately.
- To hide it from the menu link go to All Pages > ALL Auction Items > click on Microsite Pages subtab > Donate an item > click on the Edit pen next to the page name and toggle on Hide Menu Link
Send the link out to your supporters, they will be able to input all the important details and images for the item(s) they would like to donate into your auction.
- Once they have submitted the item(s) it will appear in All Pages > ALL Auction Items at the bottom of your auction items list.
- Click on the item name and make sure you are happy with all the information/images provided.
- Click on Settings and choose what type of auction item you want it to be and enable the correct Bidding Mode (e.g. Silent Auction/Live Item/Sealed Bid).
- Add in the Start Datetime and End Datetime in the item Information section.
- Enable the 'Active' toggle in item Settings and this will add the item to your auction on your event.
