# Setting up 'Donate An Item' on your event

## You can now give the opportunity to your supporters/sponsors to donate items to your auction directly from your event microsite.

To enable the Donate An Item function on your event simply follow the steps below:

- Go to **All Pages** and scroll to the bottom to **Add Pages** \> click on **Add to event** on **Donate an item** page

 

You can choose whether you want to show the link on the menu or if you want to keep it hidden and send out the link privately. 

- To hide it from the menu link go to **All Pages** \> **ALL Auction Items** \> click on **Microsite Pages** subtab \> **Donate an item** \> click on the **Edit** pen next to the page name and toggle on **Hide Menu Link**

Send the link out to your supporters, they will be able to input all the important details and images for the item(s) they would like to donate into your auction. 

- Once they have submitted the item(s) it will appear in **All Pages** \> **ALL Auction Items** at the bottom of your auction items list.
- **Click on the item name** and make sure you are happy with all the information/images provided.
- Click on **Settings** and change the item to a different Bidding Mode if needed, it will automatically be set to Silent Auction unless you change it.
- Add in the **Start Datetime** and **End Datetime** in the item **Information** section.
- Enable the **‘Active’** toggle and disable the **‘Hide’** toggle in item **Settings** and this will add the item to your auction on your event.
