First, contact your Account Manager so they can enable this setting for your event.
Once they have confirmed it's done, follow these steps:
- Log into your domain provider website (e.g. 123reg or Go Daddy)
- Go to Manage DNS for your domain
- Add the domain to Google Search Console. https://search.google.com/
- Add a property from the dropdown on the left hand side
- Choose the property type, Domain is recommended type as it covers all URLs
- Follow the instructions to add the TXT record
*Important Note: DNS changes can take time to apply so verification may not happen immediately.
- Click Verify
- Under Indexing, navigate to Removals
- Submit a new request for your private domain e.g. https://www.charityevent.com
* Once submitted the process could take a few hours or up to a day before the domain is removed from the indexed search results.
