You can now give the opportunity to your supporters/sponsors to donate items to your auction directly from your event microsite.

To enable the Donate An Item function on your event simply follow the steps below:
- Go to Settings > Auction
- Toggle on Enable Guest Item Donation
You can choose whether you want to show the link on the menu or if you want to keep it hidden and send out the link privately.
- To hide it from the menu link go to Microsite > Pages > click on Edit on the Donate an item page and enable ‘Hide Menu Link’
Send the link out to your supporters, they will be able to input all the important details and images for the item(s) they would like to donate into your auction.
- Once they have submitted the item(s) it will appear in Fundraising > Auction Items at the bottom of your auction items list.
- Click on Edit on the item and make sure you are happy with all the information/images provided.
- Choose what type of auction item you want it to be and enable the correct Bidding Mode (e.g. Competitive Bid/Live Item/Sealed Bid).
- Add in the Start Datetime and End Datetime for the item.
- Enable the 'Active' toggle and this will add the item to your auction on your event.
