# Manually adding a pledge onto Emma for a guest

## If you would like to manually add a pledge for a guest, simply follow these steps.

- Go to your **Activity** tab (left-hand menu)
- Click **Add Activity**
- Search for the **Guest** or **Add a new guest**
- Click **+ Pledge**
- Choose the pledge level from “**Pledge**“ field
- Complete the **Pledge Amount** field
- Click **Add** (you can toggle on disable ticket communications so the guest is not notified)
- Click **Add activity** or **Add & pay for activity** if the pledge has already been paid
