# How to add buttons to your microsite pages

## Buttons are useful for guests navigating the site, especially on mobile. Please follow the steps below to add buttons to your microsite.

- Go to **All Pages**
- Choose the page you would like to add a button to, in this example **Home**
- Click into an **element**, or **add a new element** (*please note, on functionality pages you will only be allowed a Header, you can add a button here if you wish*).
- Click **+ Button**
- Choose the button **Type**

*\***Internal:** to link a page within the microsite*

*\***External:** to link an external site*

*\***Email:** to open a new email with the email address added*

- Enter **Button Text**
- You can choose the **Button Alignment** (central, left, right)
- Click **Save**

**\*Please note you can have 2 buttons per element.**
