# Creating a donation page embed code for your own website

## The embed code will allow you to add a donation page ‘widget’ to your website, outside of the Emma microsite. To set this up, please follow the steps below.

- Go to **All Pages \> Donation page**
- Select the **Widgets submenu**
- Click **+ Add widget**
- Select **‘Pledge’** in the Type field
- **Select the required donation level** in the Pledge field. Note: you have to have a pledge level added to the event in order to select one.
- Enable the **Active** toggle
- Click **+Add**
- Click on the **Widget to edit**
- **Paste the entire code snippet** **into the \<head\> element** of any pages you require the widget.
- **Paste the entire code snippet into the \<body\> element** where you want the widget to appear.

To install the widget on your website, follow the steps below:

- Click on the **Widget to edit**
- **Paste the entire code snippet** **into the \<head\> element** of any pages you require the widget.

**And/or**

- **Paste the entire code snippet into the \<body\> element** where you want the widget to appear.
