- Make sure all your auction items have an End Date/Time set
- You can do this by going to All Pages > ALL Auction Items
- Select all items using the tick box at the top on the left
- You will see a option to update the end date. A dialog box will appear, simply set the sate and click save.
- Then go to Settings
- Toggle on ‘Automate Auction Payment Collection’
- The system will then automatically choose the highest bidders (the number of highest bidders per item will be determined by the “Qty of Items Available” field on your Auction item - e.g. if it says 2, there will be 2 highest bidders chosen for that item) and send out the communication depending on whether you have pre-authorisation on (in which case payments will be collected and the “Auction Item Winner - Collect Payments” communication will be sent out) or not (in which case payment links will be sent with the “Auction Item Winner - Payment Link” communication) after the item end time has been surpassed
You can amend the Communication templates for Auction Item Winners beforehand if you wish to include instructions on how to collect their items, or add a personal touch.
