Alt text is crucial for screen reader users who are blind or have low vision. It provides a textual representation of the image, allowing them to understand the content. You can add alt text in Emma to hero images, auction item/buy now item/ticket/pledge/prize draw/agenda images and to any images within content in page elements.
- Go to the relevant page within All Pages
- Add an image
- Click Edit on the image
- If you have added the image within content in page elements, then select the image and click on the T symbol (alternative text) to add the text and click Update
- Add your alternative text
- Click Done
