Adding a voucher attachment to an auction item
You can attach a voucher to an auction item that will automatically get sent to the winning bidder once they have paid for the item.
Should you want to attach a voucher to an auction item in your event that will automatically be sent to the winning bidder once they have paid simply follow the steps below:
- Go to All Pages > Silent Auction Items page in the back end of the system.
- Click on the item you wish to add a voucher to.
- Click on E-Voucher on the top tab and toggle on ‘Send Voucher’.
- This will then show you additional fields – see the screenshot below.
- Complete the Booking Information field if there is specific information on that item that you want to include in the email that will get sent to the guest. If the voucher attachment alone will suffice then ignore this field.
- Upload the attachment document.
- Press Save.
- Note: Voucher type and redeem questions are more for EMMA items when we ask the winner questions before connecting them with the supplier so typically you will not need these fields.
- The email template that gets sent to the winner, after they have paid, with the attachment and booking info is called ‘Auction Voucher Pending – Client Item – No Questions’ – see screenshot below.
Feel free to edit this template and if anything is inserted in the Booking Information field on the item it will pull through to this template too as mentioned above.
